Orphaned otters, rehabilitated after five months, are released back into the wild.

Two orphaned North American river otters, found dehydrated in June, were rehabilitated and released back into the wild after five months of care. The otters, treated by Think Wild and the Wildlife Center of the North Coast, learned essential survival skills and were released into a riparian habitat with ongoing support. Think Wild is also fundraising to build a specialized rehabilitation enclosure for river otters and beavers.
