Nnamdi Kanu sues Nigerian government for $125M, alleging unlawful rendition from Kenya.

Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has filed a N50 billion lawsuit against the Nigerian government over his alleged unlawful abduction from Kenya and rendition to Nigeria. The case was temporarily stalled on Monday due to the presiding judge's absence and has been rescheduled for February 11, 2025. The government has filed a preliminary objection, arguing the suit abuses court process.
