Nigerian capital beefs up security, targeting car thefts and recovering stolen vehicles.

The FCT Police in Nigeria's capital, Abuja, have stepped up security by deploying more officers and equipment to fight "one-chance" robberies and car theft. They are impounding vehicles without proper registration and enforcing rules on number plates and tinted windows. Since the measures began, stolen cars have been recovered, and robbers have been caught. The police urge residents to report suspicious activity and cooperate with officers.
