New Zealand appoints a board led by Judge Brian Dwyer to decide on a waste-to-energy project.

New Zealand's Environment Minister appointed Judge Brian Dwyer as chair of the board of inquiry for the Te Awamutu waste-to-energy proposal. Joining Dwyer are Nicholas Manukau, a Resource Management Act hearings commissioner, and Myles McCauley, an air quality specialist. The board will assess public submissions and make a final decision on the proposal according to the Resource Management Act.
