Nevada's Clark County School District (CCSD) must develop a Corrective Action Plan due to budget non-compliance, as ordered by Governor Joe Lombardo. The Nevada Department of Education has appointed a Compliance Monitor to oversee progress. The plan must be submitted by December 27 and implemented by January 9, 2025. This follows concerns over the district’s leadership, policies, and a $10.9 million budget shortfall.
