Iowa reports record corn and soybean yields despite challenging weather conditions this year.

Iowa's corn and soybean harvests are nearly complete despite a wet November, with record average corn yields of 213 bushels per acre and soybean yields at 61 bushels per acre. The rains improved drought conditions and soil moisture, with 66% of topsoil and 45% of subsoil having adequate or surplus moisture. Despite challenges like a wet spring and dry fall, the harvest yielded record or near-record production.
