Google invests $930M in Nebraska data centers, expanding jobs and funding local education and AI research.

Google will invest an additional $930 million in its Nebraska data centers, bringing its total investment to over $4.4 billion. The funds will expand the Lincoln data center, expected to employ at least 30 people. Google also donated $250,000 to the University of Nebraska for AI research and $100,000 to Lincoln Public Schools for a summer learning program. The company plans to support water replenishment projects in the state.
