Ford introduces a PHEV Ranger for Australia in 2025, aiming for a 45 km electric range.

Ford is launching a Ranger PHEV pickup truck in Australia in 2025, targeting an electric-only range of 45 km, which aligns with the average 40 km daily driving distance of current Ranger owners. The vehicle will have four drive modes and maintain the same 3,500 kg towing capacity as its diesel counterparts. Powered by a 2.3-liter petrol engine and a 75 kW electric motor, the Ranger PHEV is expected to cost more than the V6 turbo-diesel versions.
