Biden hosts turkey pardons, a Coast Guard dinner, and unveils the White House Christmas tree.

President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden kicked off their final White House holiday season with traditional turkey pardons and the arrival of the official Christmas tree. The pardoned turkeys, named Peach and Blossom, will live at a farm in Minnesota. The Bidens also hosted a "friendsgiving" dinner for U.S. Coast Guard members and their families in New York City, supporting the first lady’s Joining Forces initiative. The 18.5-foot Fraser fir Christmas tree, named "Tremendous," was sourced from a North Carolina farm that survived Hurricane Helene.
