Accused of multiple murders, Finlay MacDonald claims mental impairment, but a psychologist testified otherwise.
Finlay MacDonald, accused of murdering his brother-in-law John MacKinnon and attempting to murder his wife and another couple, faces trial in Edinburgh. Forensic psychologist Lorraine Johnstone testified that MacDonald's mental conditions, including an undiagnosed autism spectrum disorder and personality disorder, did not significantly impair his ability to control his actions. MacDonald has pleaded not guilty and claims his conduct was impaired by an abnormality of mind.
