South Korea has designated May 27 as Aerospace Day to celebrate the launch of the Korea Aerospace Administration (KASA) and its ambitions to become a leading global space power. The day will be recognized as a national memorial starting in 2023, with KASA organizing celebratory events for its inaugural Aerospace Day in 2025. KASA also signed an agreement with NASA to collaborate on Moon exploration studies.
