Researchers find drones and cameras meant to monitor wildlife are being used to spy on and intimidate women in India.

Researchers from the University of Cambridge found that in the Corbett Tiger Reserve, drones and camera traps, meant for wildlife monitoring, are being misused by local authorities and men to spy on and intimidate women, preventing them from collecting natural resources. This not only violates their rights but also exposes them to greater danger from wildlife. The study suggests using less invasive methods like surveys to avoid these issues.
