Nigeria's GDP grew by 3.46% in Q3 2024, up from 2.54% in Q3 2023, according to the National Bureau of Statistics. The services sector, which expanded by 5.19%, was the main driver, contributing 53.58% to the GDP. Agriculture and industry also saw growth of 1.14% and 2.18%, respectively. The oil sector, contributing 5.57% to the GDP, saw an average daily production of 1.47 million barrels, up from the previous year.
