India reclaimed the top spot in the World Test Championship (WTC) points table after defeating Australia by 295 runs in the first Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Perth. Previously leading the WTC, India dropped to second after losing 0-3 to New Zealand at home. The victory has improved India's standing to 61.11 percentage points, while Australia remains in second with 57.69 points.
