Construction begins on Sunnyvale's Corn Palace Park, set to include 58 homes and a 2-acre public park.

Construction on Sunnyvale's Corn Palace Park has started, with plans to build 58 single-family homes and a 2-acre public park on an 8.8-acre site. The new park at Toyon and Lily avenues will feature a lawn, two play areas, a tennis court, and a basketball half-court. Developer Trumark Homes is leading the project, which is set to finish early next year, replacing a cornfield and produce stand owned by the Francia brothers.
