Carolina Panthers tight end Ja'Tavion Sanders suffered a neck injury during Sunday's game and was hospitalized but later discharged.

Carolina Panthers rookie tight end Ja'Tavion Sanders was taken to a hospital after sustaining a neck injury during Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs. The injury occurred when Sanders was tackled and landed on his head after catching a 10-yard pass. He was placed on a backboard and transported to Carolinas Medical Center. Sanders had full use of his extremities and was discharged. The Panthers lost the game 30-27.
