BMW begins limited production of a new electric SUV in Hungary, set for mass production late 2025.

BMW has started limited production of the new electric SUV, replacing the current iX3 model, at its Hungary factory. These near-series vehicles are used to test the factory’s logistics and manufacturing processes. Scheduled for mass production late 2025, the new SUV will be the first on BMW's Neue Klasse EV platform, featuring minimalistic styling and a 30% greater driving range compared to current EV models. BMW plans to launch six new electric models by 2028.
