Amazon India is planning to launch its quick commerce service, Tez, by late December or early next year, marking its entry into the fast-growing ultra-fast delivery market in India. Competitors like Blinkit, Zepto, and Swiggy Instamart currently dominate this sector, which is projected to reach nearly $7 billion by 2024. Amazon is setting up dark stores and building logistics for quick deliveries of groceries and daily essentials, while also hiring staff for the project. The company faces competition from established players like Flipkart, BigBasket, and Tata Digital.
