In a 52-17 win against Fiji, 24-year-old Ulster flanker Cormac Izuchukwu made his international rugby debut for Ireland. Izuchukwu, who is 6ft 7in tall and has Irish and Nigerian heritage, expressed his excitement and thanked his teammates and coach Andy Farrell for their support. He had been a non-playing member of Ireland’s squad during the summer and overlooked for previous matches before this debut.
