Two pedestrians in their 60s were killed after being hit by a car in Saint-Théodore-d'Acton, Montérégie, on Saturday evening. The accident occurred at about 5:59 PM at an unlit part of Route 139 near an intersection. The victims were crossing the road to reach their parked vehicle when the incident happened. Both died at the scene, while the two occupants of the car were treated for shock. The investigation is ongoing.
