A potential new Chopin waltz has been discovered at the Morgan Library & Museum, New York.

A previously unknown waltz, attributed to 19th-century composer Frederic Chopin, has been discovered at the Morgan Library & Museum in New York City. The untitled, unsigned one-page manuscript, found in a 2019 collection, features a stormy opening and melancholic melody typical of Chopin's style. Though not definitively confirmed as Chopin's work, experts believe it aligns with his compositional essence, marking the first new piece associated with him in almost a century.
