Oman launches projects to improve medical services, reduce waitlists, and localize care in major hospitals.

The Ministry of Health in Oman has launched projects to improve medical services at Khoula, Al Nahda Hospitals, and the Al Wattayah Gynaecology and Obstetrics Complex. Aimed at reducing waitlists and localizing services, the projects are backed by public and private sector partnerships. Funding and medical equipment were provided by institutions including the Ministry of Energy and Minerals, Petroleum Development Oman, and several charitable foundations. Minister of Health Dr. Hilal Ali al Sabti emphasized the importance of these collaborations for sustainable health services.
