Oilers' Podkolzin ends 42-game goal drought, helps team secure 6-2 win over Rangers.
Vasily Podkolzin scored his first goal as an Edmonton Oiler on Saturday, ending a 42-game goal drought, in a 6-2 win over the New York Rangers. Podkolzin's teammate, Leon Draisaitl, praised his play and expressed joy over the goal. Connor McDavid added two goals for the Oilers, who have now won five of their last eight games.
