Namibian cultural group BMCG marks 32 years by engaging youth in heritage activities, aiming to expand into tourism.

The Black Melody Cultural Group (BMCG), founded in Namibia in 1992, celebrated its 32nd anniversary by engaging local youth in cultural heritage activities. Starting with seven members, BMCG has grown to 35 and now performs globally, addressing issues like poverty and HIV/AIDS. The group preserves traditional knowledge through performances and has evolved into a profitable venture, aiming to expand into tourism and other arts.
