Nagaland MLA highlights critical doctor shortage, urges better conditions and recruitment.
At the Nagaland In-Service Doctors Association (NIDA) conference, MLA Sukhato A Sema highlighted the state’s critical shortage of doctors, with a ratio of 1:4,056, far below the WHO's recommended 1:1,000. Sema emphasized the need for better living conditions for medical staff and suggested NIDA form a recruitment committee. The association also elected a new executive team to improve healthcare access and quality.
