The Lake District National Park Authority hosted a successful conference in Ambleside, showcasing the latest archaeology findings and research from the Lake District, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2017. The event highlighted prehistoric settlements, industrial features, and community involvement in excavations. With sold-out attendance and positive feedback, the LDNPA plans to hold another conference in November 2025.
