Hindu priest Yati Narsinghanand placed under house arrest to prevent attendance at Muslim-led conference in Delhi.

Police placed Hindu priest Yati Narsinghanand under house arrest to prevent him from attending a conference in Delhi organized by Muslim cleric Tauqeer Raza. The conference is about the Waqf Board Amendment Bill. When stopped, Narsinghanand and his disciples recited Hanuman Chalisa inside the temple. Narsinghanand criticized the Muslim clerics for exploiting Hindu tolerance and urged Hindus to stand up against them.
