Georgia's university system plans to ban DEI programs and mandate study of founding documents starting 2025.

The University System of Georgia (USG) has proposed new policies that include a commitment to institutional neutrality and a ban on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs. Starting in 2025, students will be required to study key American founding documents. The board aims to ensure a neutral stance on social and political issues and promote objective scholarship and civil discourse across Georgia's 26 public colleges and universities.
