Delhi University candidates must pledge to avoid loud noise, rallies, and defacing public property during elections.

Delhi University has asked DUSU election candidates to sign an affidavit pledging not to use loudspeakers, firecrackers, dhols, or pamphlets, and to avoid rallies or roadshows after results on November 25. This measure, part of existing election rules, aims to prevent public property defacement and is in response to a Delhi High Court case. Non-compliance could lead to losing their elected position.
