A Singaporean man was arrested in Thailand for making a false bomb threat against an AirAsia flight.

A Singaporean man, Ho Wai Chong, was arrested at Bangkok's Don Mueang International Airport for making a false bomb threat against an AirAsia flight, causing the flight to be grounded and all passengers to be screened. Ho confessed to making the threat due to family issues and was found to have overstayed his visa by 28 days. He faces up to 15 years in prison and a fine, and will be blacklisted from entering Thailand after serving his sentence.
