Vandalism strikes Nigerian power line again, stealing conductors and hampering 85% completed repairs.

Vandals have attacked Nigeria's Ahoada-Yenagoa 132kV power line for the second time, stealing about one-third of the conductor from towers 29 to 31. The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) reports the repairs were 85% complete when the attack occurred. TCN has increased local security to prevent further theft and urges public support to combat vandalism, which has severely impacted Nigeria's power infrastructure.
