Ursula Haverbeck, a 96-year-old German far-right activist known for Holocaust denial, has died. She repeatedly claimed that Auschwitz was just a labor camp and not a site of mass murder, accumulating multiple convictions for her views. Haverbeck served over two years in prison and was recently sentenced to a year and four months for incitement. Despite her convictions, she ran as a candidate for the European Parliament in 2019 for the far-right party Die Rechte.
