Two 10,000-year-old great white shark teeth, each from sharks 18-20 feet long, were found in Rhode Island.

Two fossilized great white shark teeth, estimated to be at least 10,000 years old, have been found recently on Narragansett Town Beach in Rhode Island. The Atlantic Shark Institute, which assessed the teeth, expressed surprise at the discoveries, noting they are rare for the region. Each tooth comes from sharks that were about 18-20 feet long.
