Two Warren police officers saved an 8-year-old boy from a high-voltage power line and received the Carnegie Medal.

Two Warren police officers, David Chapman and Daniel Rose, received North America's highest heroism award, the Carnegie Medal, for rescuing an 8-year-old boy from a 4,800-volt power line. The boy and his 10-year-old brother had both been shocked; both survived after being rushed to the hospital. The officers were in the area for another call when they found and saved the boys.
