Two crashes in New Hampshire left one dead, several injured, and raised concerns over highway safety.

A 19-year-old was killed and a 31-year-old woman seriously injured in a fiery crash on Interstate 93 in Bow, New Hampshire. The crash involved a sedan and an SUV and is the 10th fatality of someone under 21 in New Hampshire this year. Police are investigating reports of cars racing and have asked witnesses to come forward. Separately, a multi-car crash on Interstate 95 in Greenland closed the highway for five hours and left several people injured, including one critically. This has prompted plans to install median barriers to prevent future accidents.
