Three died and three were injured in Texas after a high-speed chase ended in a fatal crash.

Three people were killed and three others injured in a fatal crash in Coryell County, Texas, following a high-speed police chase. The incident began when 31-year-old Michael Scott Hughes, reportedly waving a firearm from his 2019 Chevrolet Malibu, lost control and collided with a Volkswagen SUV. Hughes and two passengers in the SUV died; the SUV's driver and two other passengers were hospitalized. The crash investigation is ongoing.
