Texas Supreme Court rules AG Ken Paxton won't face deposition in lawsuit by former aides.

The Texas Supreme Court has ruled that Attorney General Ken Paxton will not have to sit for a deposition in a lawsuit filed by four former aides who claim they were fired after reporting him to the FBI. The court decided that since Paxton's office agreed not to contest the lawsuit, the sworn testimony is unnecessary. The main issue now is determining the damages for the plaintiffs.
