Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has presented a N3.005 trillion budget for 2025, titled "Budget of Sustainability," to the State House of Assembly. The budget focuses on infrastructure and economic growth, with 41% allocated to recurrent expenditure and 59% to capital expenditure. The total revenue is projected at N2.597 trillion, with a deficit financing of N408 billion. Speaker Mudashiru Obasa assured swift passage of the budget. Meanwhile, Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed presented a N465 billion budget proposal for 2025, with 60.7% for capital expenditure and 39.3% for recurrent expenses.
