Jarawa Tribe members in India's Andaman Islands are included in electoral rolls for the first time.

For the first time, 19 members of the Jarawa Tribe, a hunting and gathering group from the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, have been included in India's electoral roll as part of the Special Summary Revision-2025. The Jarawas, who have a population of about 240, have been non-hostile to contact teams since 1974. This inclusion marks their first participation in the electoral process.
