Employers and employees clash over return-to-office plans, with most workers preferring remote work.

A recent Indeed survey reveals that while 44% of bosses see office work as more about appearance than productivity, 57% still plan to bring employees back full-time within two years. Employees largely prefer remote work, with only 17% willing to go into the office more than required. Many workers (60%) believe the government should strengthen work-from-home rights, but skeptical about enforcement, with 49% expecting to be contacted outside work hours. Employers and employees are at odds over workplace flexibility, potentially straining morale.
