Emirates flight returns 82 Bangladeshis home from Lebanon; total repatriated now 697.
On Thursday, 82 Bangladeshi nationals returned home from Lebanon on an Emirates flight, with 76 sponsored by the Bangladeshi government and six by the IOM. This brings the total number of repatriated Bangladeshis to 697 since the crisis began. The government is working to ensure safety for those remaining in Lebanon, where one Bangladeshi expatriate has died.
