Andhra Pradesh outlines ambitious employment scheme, promising vast infrastructure projects and jobs.

Andhra Pradesh's Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan outlined the National Employment Scheme, aiming to create seven crore man-days of work, including 30,000 development projects and 3,000 kilometers of cement concrete roads. The scheme, budgeted at Rs 4,500 crore, also plans to build 500 kilometers of bituminous roads and 20,000 cowsheds. Kalyan criticized the previous government for misusing funds and neglecting pollution control.
