Partnership builds two large vessels for rock installation in offshore wind projects, aiming for zero emissions.

A partnership between The CSL Group and Offshore Wind Logistics, CSL OWL Subsea Rock Installation, is building two new subsea rock installation vessels for the offshore renewable energy sector. Each vessel will have a cargo capacity of 17,500 metric tonnes, dynamic positioning, and can operate on marine gas oil or methanol, aiming for zero-emission operations. They will install rock material up to 60/300 kg grading in water depths up to 100 meters. The first vessel is set to be delivered in August 2026, followed by the second in November 2026.
