North Dakota certifies 2024 election results with high turnout, setting stage for potential recounts.

North Dakota's State Canvassing Board has certified the 2024 election results, with Republican David Brien and Democrat Mary Adams winning their races. Over 371,000 voters participated, marking a 62.61% turnout. More than 95,000 absentee and vote-by-mail ballots were requested, and nearly 99,000 voted early. The board will reconvene on December 2 to review automatic recounts for two Soil Conservation District races and any additional recounts requested.
