Jamarcus Cyprian, a 20-year-old inmate serving time for armed robbery and weapons charges, was captured six months after escaping from Tangipahoa Parish Jail. Cyprian, one of four inmates who fled the jail in May, was found in Hammond on November 20. The jail has faced scrutiny for escape incidents and staff training issues.
