Federal court rules in favor of state control over Jackson, Mississippi's international airport.

A federal appeals court has ended a legal battle over control of Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport in Mississippi, clearing the way for a new board with a majority of state-appointed members. The court dismissed the lawsuit, stating that the city-appointed board members did not prove they would be harmed by the change.
