Fargo escapee Kadar Pearson pleads guilty to possessing a stolen gun, part of a federal crime reduction effort.

Kadar Pearson, a 20-year-old from Fargo, pleaded guilty to possessing a firearm as a felon. On June 5, police spotted him in a ski mask after a shots-fired report; he fled and left a SIG Sauer 9mm pistol, previously stolen, under a car. Pearson was an escapee from state custody, serving time for fentanyl and gun theft. He will be sentenced on March 17, 2025. This case is part of a federal program to reduce violent crime.
