A 15-year-old girl from St. Catharines was arrested after making a threatening joke on Snapchat about her school, Holy Cross Catholic Secondary School. Interpol alerted Niagara police, leading to her arrest for uttering a threat. Despite the arrest, the threat was deemed non-credible and the girl was released without charge. Police warn that online threats are treated seriously for public safety.
