Woman guilty of dangerous driving that killed niece and caused stillbirth avoids jail.

Chrystle Olivia Kemp, 27, pleaded guilty to dangerous driving after a crash in Shepparton that killed her niece, Savannah, and caused a stillbirth. Despite her culpability, Judge Geoffrey Chettle spared Kemp jail time, citing the exceptional nature of the case and her remorse. Instead, she was sentenced to a two-year community corrections order, 250 hours of community work, and a road trauma course.
