The Victorian government is investing $370 million in a solar farm and battery project in Horsham, which will power over 50,000 homes. The 119-megawatt solar farm and 100MW battery project, managed by OX2, is expected to create 246 jobs during construction and start supplying electricity in mid-2026. All profits will be reinvested into further renewable energy projects, aiming to reduce power bills.
